Q. What is the procedure for doing court marriage or registration online, and how long does it take?

Ans. The process is simple and time-bound.

Step 1 – Online Application:

  • Click Marriage Form and fill in your details.

  • Submit the form and pay the booking amount online.

  • You will instantly receive a confirmation receipt on your email and mobile.

Step 2 – Personal Visit (Optional):

  • If you do not wish to apply online, you can call us at 9999889091 / 9990649999 / 011-45108389 to fix an appointment.

  • On the scheduled date, submit your documents at the authorised registration office.

Step 3 – Final Appearance & Certificate:

  • On the decided date, both bride and groom must appear with two/three witnesses at 9:30 AM.

  • Under Tatkal service, you will receive your Court Marriage / Registration Certificate within 2–3 hours on the same day.

⏳ Booking – Time Period

Q. How many days before should we apply for court marriage?

Ans.

  • You may apply anytime up to 18 months in advance.

  • Generally, one week’s notice is sufficient.

  • For urgent marriages (next day or within a week), call us directly to check availability.

  • Marriages are conducted Monday to Saturday, except on public holidays.

Q. Can we change or extend our marriage date once fixed?

Q. What is the fee for court marriage or marriage registration?

Ans. The fee depends on:

  • The religion of both parties (Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Parsi, Inter-faith).

  • Whether either party is a foreigner or NRI.

  • The governing law – Hindu Marriage Act, Christian Marriage Act, Special Marriage Act, or Foreign Marriage Act.

🎂 Minimum Age Requirement

Q. What is the legal age to get married in India?

Ans.

  • Groom must be at least 21 years old.

  • Bride must be at least 18 years old.

  • Hindus: Certificate issued same day under the Hindu Marriage Act (Tatkal service).

  • Muslims: Certificate issued same day under Muslim Law (Tatkal service).

  • Christians: Certificate issued same day under the Christian Marriage Act (Tatkal service).

  • Foreigners/NRIs: Certificate issued same day under the Foreign Marriage Act (Tatkal service).

  • Inter-faith Couples: Certificate issued only after 30-day notice under the Special Marriage Act.
